Using Tradestation data feed for NinjaTrader, is there a way to use the 30 year T-Bonds?

In other words Tradestation uses symbol @US but in NinjaTrader it is ZB.

Is there a way to chart this please?

TradeStation uses the symbol mapping "US" for the 30 Yr US Treasury Bond, not "@US": http://help.tradestation.com/09_00/t..._reference.htm

You'll be able to create a new chart by clicking on New -> Chart in the NinjaTrader Control Center.

NinjaTrader will only recognize ZB (mini-30 year bond) & not the big contract from Tradestation (US), is there a reason for this please? Is there not a way to chart the big 30 year bond contract in NinjaTrader using Tradestation data please? Tried all the mapping etc etc to no avail.

The ZB and the US are equivalent. US is TradeStation's symbol mapping for the 30 Yr US Treasury Bond. ZB in NinjaTrader is not the mini-sized 30 Yr US Treasury Bond.

I am sending data of ESZ16 and NQZ16 from Tradestation to NT7.
I think that I should get real time live data. However, I get the simulated data on NT which are not sync with TS' data. TS charts are not moving almost, but NT charts are moving much faster. What is wrong?

Connect: "external data feed" enabled; "simulated data feed" disabled.
Disconnect: "Simulated data feed" is enabled.


The mapping is "@ESZ16" to "ES"; and "@NQZ16" to "NQ".

To ensure we are looking at this correctly, what chart type and interval are you viewing the charts as in each platform?
Despite them moving differently are the prices still the same or are they different? If different, how much are they off by?

I use "1 second" interval on both charts of NT and TS. The difference of ES is huge, NT = 2236.xx, TS = 2199.xx.

I closed TS, and the chart of NT is still moving. Where is the data coming from? It is wired.

The charts of NT stop moving after I disconnect simulated data feed.

Thank you for the reply.

If you are trying to get live data you should never be using the simulated data feed as that is going to generate completely fabricated data. In order to connect As long as TradeStation has been properly configured all you should need is to connect to the External Data Feed to get the incoming data.

Justin, can I send email to you with 5 screenshots, which may be too big to post here. It takes me almost two days, and had no luck.

Basically, I select "ES", edit, misc tab, and to "External" field: I tried "@ES", "ES", "@ESZ16", and "ESZ16". No luck at all.

My box is TS 9.5 update 17, and NT7(64).

Hi Justin,
I have sent the screenshots via email.
I have questions of login.
1). if I login NT8, and skip the authentication screen, I get into regular account
2). if I login NT7, and skip the authentication screen, I get a simulationonly account.
3). Which one should select from the dropdown list when i login NT7? I tried "Ninjatrader continuum(live), and got failed since user or pass invalid. I have a lifetime account of NT.

I have not yet seen the screenshots in our inbox, however I will ask one of the other support representatives to see if they have received it.

In the meantime, it would be best to re-configure your connection so that you know the login username and password are correct as it sounds like the credentials that are being used may be old or invalid.
