    Market Analyzer Indicator Problems

    Hi,

    Just upgraded to .11. When i fire up NT I receive errors from the Market Analyzer saying that Indicator Columns do not exist or name has been changed. Also having problem with ATMs, receive errors and will not place profit target order. Any fix I can do???!!

    Hello Joe,

    Thank you for your note.

    Can you try removing and re-adding the indicator columns?

    What error are you receiving when placing an ATM Strategy?

      Hi RJStein,

      Thanks for the reply. It does not give the choice of Indicators on the Columns Screen. I am re-installing NT now. Maybe something went wrong with that. I will send pics of the errors if they continue.

        Hi RJStein,

        After Uninstalling and re-installing NT vs .11. Attached is the errors I am receiving. It will not even establish the My Documents folder for trace files. Let me know what I can do!!!

          Hi Joe,

          It looks like NinjaTrader cannot find its installation files. Please use the instructions on this link to enable it to find these files: http://www.ninjatrader-support2.com/...ead.php?t=2441

            ok, got it to come up now. Still getting original error on Market Analyzer.

            attached the errors and trace file. This is not all the errors that are showing, but most are repeated. It throws over 15 error boxes.

            ps. attached the columns screen. You can see that it does not have indicator option!!!

              Can you try uninstalling the .NET Framework and reinstalling?

                If you have not re-installed .NET hold off on that.

                Please try compiling your NinjaScript objects.

                From within the Control Center window

                - Tools > Edit NinjaScript > Indicators
                - Select any indicator which will open the NinjaScript Editor
                - Press F5 --> If it compiles successfully
                - Try the MA again
                - Problem still there?

                  Ray,

                  I ended up deleting the whole My Documents directory. Once I did that, NT reset everything and now everything works fine. Not sure what was causing the problem.

                  Big pain having to reset all the connections and instrument lists all over again, but at least I can trade Tues. I did copy the strategy and indicator directories and they are still working so that was not the problem.
