Average Daily Range Indicator

I saw an indicator on Genesis Platform called Average Daily Range. It is the Daily High minus the Daily Low for a programmable number of days. The result shows up as a moving average. It resembles the ATR but is simpler.

Is anyone aware of a Ninja Indicator that does the above?

You will have to calculate this as your own indicator. You can do a search on the forums as there were people working on it before but I do not know if they have finished it or not.

I just clicked(left mouse click) on the file and it downloaded for me. I used Chrome.

Thanks for your post and welcome to the forums.

As member scjohn observed, using chrome brower you can click on the link to download the file. If you are using another browser, try right mouse -clicking on the link and see if you have the option to save target as or save link as.

This does not work on NT8

NinjaScripts made for NinjaTrader 7 will not function in NinjaTrader 8. The NinjaScript will need to be specifically programmed for use in NinjaTrader 8.

I would recommend reaching out to the original author directly to see if there is a version for NinjaTrader 8.

I could not locate one on our forums. I would suggest creating a new forum post in the appropriate sub-forum (NinjaTrader 8) to see if NinjaTrader 8 developers have a similar NinjaScript in addition to the suggestions from my previous post.
