Contract Merge

Currently when merging two contracts NT attempts to merge Day, Minute and Tick data for the period selected. Since merging Tick data is quite an overhead I think it would be helpful to merge different types of data for different periods. E.g. a few days for Tick and a few weeks / months for Minute.

To do this you could provide options in the Merge window to select any or all of Day, Minute, Tick. That way different data types could be merged separately for different periods if desired.

Merge Data - additional request

At present when merging data NT makes adjustments as outlined in the help file.

However, applying this formula when there has been a large overnight gap results in data which is not very useful.

For example recent significant highs and lows in the outgoing contract are no longer shown (or rather are there but at different prices) yet they retain forward relevance from both a S/R and trading perspective.

Would it be possible to include an Tick Box option where the user could select adjusted or 'raw' data to be merged?

NT7 will come with an option to not back adjust data on merging.
