Lookback period?

This maybe a stupid question but I cannot find where to change this...

I have a chart and all I do now is plot CurrentBar as an indicator. I have nothing else on there. It only appears in the chart after 20 bars (so CurrentBar starts at 20).
There is probably a setting somewhere where it says that it only start plotting at the 20th bar? Otherwise, why is this happening?

There are two ways to do this:

1. In your indicator code, in the Initialize method, set BarsRequired to something. It defaults to 20 if you don't set it. This is the number of bars "required" for an indicator to stabilize.

2. Or, in your chart, right click on the chart, select Properties. In the Data Series settings, there's a setting to "Show unstable period for indicators". Set this to True, and the BarsRequired setting will be suppressed, and all the data will be shown at the beginning of the plot.
