          Level II and DOM

Is there a way to populate the DOM with the level II data for ES?

Currently the DOM only shows orders for 10 deep (5 deep each side for buy/ask) but level II shows 20 deep (10 deep for each side).

            Hello Handle,

Unfortunately the DOM can only show 5 levels of market depth on each side.

This indicator looks great. Exactly what I was looking for...

Any place where I can download the latest version? The link to your blog seem to be broken.

              Thanks a lot!

EDIT: I just found it's on the Indicator section of this forum :-) The indicator is named RealTime Level II/Tick Vol 1.5 and shows as jtrealstats on NT.

              thanks,.

Was wondering if there was a text file associated with this indicator so that I could better understand and modify the color coding at levels. Also can't find a way to change the font size, as I find it too small to read. As for color bar levels, I find all the colors too distracting. For instance, would find it far easier if all the bid colors below last trade were the same, and then all the ask colors above the last trade line were the same. Could then focus more on just the horizontal length at each level as a size indicator. Knowing at what % increase in bid/ask level depicted what % increase in horizontal display would be helpful. Twice the bid is twice the display..? If an actual color change is to be made, perhaps that might be a user preference too. For instance, if a truly large size bid appears, say X times normal or X times current average, then that level and only that level would turn a brighter color. I also found the constant change in vertical colors used to indicate whether the last trade was at higher or lower or same volume to be a constant distraction, and fluttering way too fast to be of any real interpretive help. I simply changed those colors to Invisible to make them disappear altogether. So if there is a instruction file somewhere with all the color legend depicted and explained, and how best to customize it, plus a way to change the text font, would greatly appreciate it. And thxs for all your great work regarding this indicator....

since i use NT8 v8.0.8.0 , this indicator causes a total freezing after connect.
i saw at the NT script editor this error:

mandepsi, could you please attach a copy of the exact NT8 script you use so we could take a look and give it a run on our side here?

                        Hello mandepsi,

I've made some modifications to this script. The class referenced in the error has been moved outside of the scope of the indicator to its own namespace. The expandable object also has IClonable implemented in case this might be an issue.

Please re-download and test for the error once more.

For any modification requests, please contact the original author.

I wanted to request the setting for the "Jtrealstats Realtime Level Ii / Tick Volume" as I downloaded it and it does not appear in my ninja trader as it appears in the photo on the download page, the bars and transactions are not reflected in the chart, how should be configured? Thank you.Click image for larger version

                            Hello arangocj,

This indicator uses Level 2 data and the results you are seeing look like your data feed is not providing level 2 data. I would suggest consulting your data provider to see about getting level 2 data so you can use this indicator.

                            We look forward to assisting.

Hi Chelsea, my data source is from a funding company, i have free trial and an funding test, so i don't know if level II is included, I have examined and they don't load level II data in Ninja, I don't know How to do, should this company cover this or is it more adaptive to the functioning of the ninja trader with a lifetime license?

                                Hello arangocj,

Level 2 data would be given by your data provider and would not be part of a license purchase. This would be something to discuss with the data provider.

If you want to consider options for data, you can see some options below.
