show bid ask and size of that on chart

    Hi All,

I changed an existing indi to show bid/ask as lines on chart
    thickness changes acc. to sizes

I'd also like to write an alert to log, that shows volume traded above ask and below bid, but this alert doesn't seem to catch the trades logged on the T&S that happen at those prices

once in a while 1 contract traded at those prices shows up, despite more on the T&S

    Thanks for your help

    Hello td_910,

    Thank you for the post.

I am not certain of what may be happening in the script you had provided aside from you are using the Last event. We have a small sample of accessing the T&S data from an indicator which I have attached. I can see the prints matching my T&S window while using this indicator. Could you test using the attached sample, if you are seeing matching prints you could likely modify the sample to include alerts where needed.

I look forward to being of further assistance.

      Hi Jesse,

      Thanks for your help
yes I can see now all of the T&S events in the output

I added a couple of lines of code to your indi, that draw hor. lines at the current bid/ask and draw also some text on the chart

but then I get this https://www.screencast.com/t/mLmV9oriz
prices on the chart obviously don't match the bid/ask displayed by NT

      despite that https://www.screencast.com/t/lyl5wB9KpRo

the prices on the chart seem to match those shown from NT, when a tick comes in !?

          Hello,

          Thank you for the reply.

Unfortunately not, In this situation, it appears you are running into the limits of the refresh on the chart opposed to the other tools and how they display data. I can see that when dragging the chart I can get a near identical text but because the chart is rendering at its fixed rate the values can become out of sync visually. The underlying data would still be in sync but visually this would be difficult to sync to match exactly. I am unsure of a way for this to be always matching as the chart has a fixed update interval.

Please let me know if I may be of further assistance.
