Market Capitalization

Hi,

1) any suggestions for a data provider that supplies current Market Cap ? I'm using BarChart.com at the moment, which doesn't seem to offer it.

2) Assuming I still want to keep BarChart as my primary data feed for prices,etc, can I concurrently connect to a 2nd data provider solely for the missing Market Cap data? How do I go about doing so (order of connection, etc)

Unfortunately market capitalization is not supported in NinjaTrader at this time. However it is on the list of possible future enhancements.

Hi Jason,

I notice that Market Analyzer supports Outstanding Shares, which I could then use to approximate the Market Cap at any given time.

Now, is it possible for me to receive live price feed through say BarChart, but the OutstandingShares feed through another data provider, on the same MA window?

Hello Nick,

Unfortunately I am not sure if it works using this connection sequence (BarChart first and the other one second). If you do not receive data for Outstanding Shares this way, you will need to connect to the other feed first and BarChart second.
