One obstacle I anticipate in coding such an indicator is that the Update() event will trigger multiple times during the formation of the bar. This would be undesirable and I wondered if anyone else has encountered this challenge and coded around it.

sound alert() for a big bar
Does anyone have an indicator that sounds an alert when a bar grows beyond a certain range? I would like an indicator to notify me when the market suddenly moves quickly and the current bar is greater than x ticks.

Hi crmcwi,
One option would be to increase the rearmSeconds settings.

Alternatively, you can reset the alarm based on a new condition.
