    Problem with Exit orders

    Hi. I would like to send a partial order instead off full size.

    ExitLong(Position.Quantity- InitialLot);

    Not working
    -------------------------------
    if ( a>b )
    {
    X = Position.Quantity - InitialLot;

    ExitLong ( X );
    }

    Also not work.
    I´m trying on MarketReplay data and it send the order like ExitLong()

    Thanks.

    Hello syscali,

    In order to scale out of a positon, you must first scale in with separate entry names. Please see this reference sample for help setting this up.

      Hi RyanM .
      Does it means that the Order Quantity can´t be a variable? Is there another way to calculate?.
      Thanks.

        Order quantity can be a variable, but the managed order system will still tie the exit quantity to the quantity of the entry signal.

        If you want to scale out of positions you must follow the reference sample or move to an unmanaged system in version 7.
