what I'm trying to do in the market analyzer is to use a custom indicator, (similar to a macd histogram) and have the cell change colors when:

green when the indicator value is higher than the bar prior
red when the indicator value is lower than the bar prior

the value above/below the zero line does not matter, just looking for increasing or decreasing values. All I can see is to use is greater/less than 0

Thank you for your post.

As there is only the option to compare a value against a static value and not a prior or dynamically updating value, what you can do is develop an indicator that plots a value based on the condition. So let's say 1 for the first condition, 2 for the second condition. Then check for those values in the Market Analyzer Cell Conditions.
