    Delete redundant accounts

    Hello,

I have quite a few redundant accounts appearing in Control Panel > Account Performance "Advanced" > Accounts list.

Q1. Is another way to delete all of these accounts which does not involve deleting the main database file as described in the quote below?

Q2. If I do indeed have to delete the database file, will all my indicator licenses also be deleted and need to be re-added?

    1. Shutdown NinjaTrader and Go to the Start Menu
    2. Select My Documents--> NinjaTrader 7--> DB--> NinjaTrader.sdf.
    3. Right click on NinjaTrader.sdf and select "Rename."
    4. Name it "NewNinjaTrader.sdf."
    5. Then restart the software.

    Thank-you
    Michelle

    Hello,

    Thanks for posting.

Q1. There would not be a way to do this outside of the mentioned method. Please note, however, renaming the database to something other than "NinjaTrader.sdf" would not delete the file. NinjaTrader will use whichever file is named "NinjaTrader.sdf", so you can always temporarily change the names back to view the previous historical trade information.

Q2. Vendor Licensing would be stored in the Config file, so this should not affect the vendor licensing at all.

Thanks for your reply Drew. Could you please tell me where commissions are stored, is that also in the config file?

        Hello,

        Thanks for your reply.

That would be correct, this is also stored in the Config file.

Are the redundant accounts Sim accounts or real money accounts?

            They are real money accounts.
