Default Lost IB Gateway connection restores without market data

I have IB gateway setup as a secondary connection which I use for trading account and market depth purposes. Each night around midnight CST or sometimes later I experience the usual lost connection for a few seconds/minutes where both primary and secondary connections are then restored successfully.

The problem I'm having right now is that on most nights after the IB connection is restored, I lose market data... and the only way to restore this is to do a disconnect / reconnect.

Also, I never experienced this issue with NT7, only with NT8 and it seems to be more common lately.

Could you please send the log and trace from your platform to look further into this inquiry.


Please send me your log and trace files from within NinjaTrader. Go to Control Center-->Help-->Email Support in NinjaTrader. Put 'Att Shawn', in the subject field and enable 'Log and trace files'. Also, give a reference of this thread in the body of the email.
