Deletion of separated orders

Hello,


Lets assume I split a limit sell order of e.g. 4 future contracts in three separated orders of 1 contract and place them above ask in the orderbook (all three have the same price) with a little delay between each particular order placement.

After an hour i decide to remove the entire order of 3 contracts with the "Close" button in the dynamic superdome window.

My question is as follows:

Will particular delete or is the "deleting process" for all three orders simultaneous? And with simultaneous I really mean simultaneous: millisecond delay between each deletion.

Thanks for writing in to our Support team.

There will be a slight delay, a few milliseconds, between the deletion of each order. When you click the Close button these orders will not be cancelled simultaneously if they are entered in separately. All NinjaTrader order entry interfaces preserve the First in First Out status when possible.

And how will ninjatrader handle a reduce in the order size?

Lets assume I place an sell limit order of 4 contracts under ask as a bunch and not separated. Now i go in the Window and reduce the size of the pending order from 4 to 3 contracts.

Will ninjatrader cancel the old order of 4 contracts and place a new one over 3 contracts?

Thanks for your reply.

When reducing the order size of a limit order, NinjaTrader will simply modify the order to reflect the new quantity - it will not cancel the order for 4 contracts and submit a new one for 3 contracts.
