Add a notes column to the executions / strategies tab

I make a trade log in excel. It'd be nice if I could type in notes for each execution and/or entry in the strategy tab. This way I wouldn't need to use excel and it'd be much faster. I like to take notes for each trade.

I will forward this suggestion as well. However, would it not be easier to include this in this Executions-tab instead of the Strategy-tab of the Control Center? That way, you can create a note per execution that took place.

Execution would be fine. Mainly I want to comment my entry but you are right one may want to comment exits as well especially when scaling in & out.

If I could add my two cents...

When or if the NinjaTrader development staff decide to implement such a feature, I would like to be able to specify such a comment entry under program control.

Then a strategy programmer could set some string (e.g., "StrategyAnalyzerComment") to a value which would be used as the default setting for the comment to be placed on the Executions tab. Thus the comment could be formatted under program control to give useful initial information, or left blank.

And if the user wished to edit this value, then it could be edited on the screen, so notes could be added/changed/deleted after it has been written to the Executions tab.
