Yellow connection status?

In the control center window, on the bottom left, where the connection status is displayed (green=connected, red=connection lost), what does a yellow color mean? Just now the status area turned yellow, though it still said "Connected - Zen-Fire", the same as if it were green. What does this yellow status mean?

Radical, internally those are two connections (price data and brokererage connection), yellow state would mean the one of those did not connect successfully. Please try to restart NinjaTrader and then reconnect fresh to ZenFire.

Thanks Bertrand, what do you mean exactly by price date? Is that like, NT checks to make sure the most current price time is consistent with the local time of the computer's internal clock?

When you partially loose connection, it would change the status to yellow / orange in the status bar.

Hi...could you post a new link for detail info on the yellow/orange connection status etc...the above does not work anymore...smile...thanks...greg

also...will the yellow/orange status clear itself up after a while if it happens with with running strategies so it does not have to be restarted? restarting means restarting strategies too and getting all out of sync (which is a mess in my opinion)...

While it yellow/orange it seems to be running properly as well?

The orange connection color indicates you are disconnected to one of the servers. NinjaTrader will try to re-connect automatically when this happens.
