differences between local computer and co locate

    Hello,

I have developed an automated script which runs fine in my computer in Germany.

When I import it to my co locate in Chicago it does not take trades.

I have tried exporting as a zip file and importing on the co locate and also by copying and compiling the .cs files.

To double check copied the cs files from the co locate back to my German local computer and works.

What could be the difference in environments that could cause this?

    Thank you.

    Hello jackomulligan,

    Thanks for your post.

Can you run the strategy SampleMACrossover on sim101 and does it take trades historically and live?

Do you see any errors listed on the "log" tab of the control center related to your strategy and/or the data feed and instrument it is connected to?

Does the strategy use any type of time filtering to restrict when it trades?

Does the strategy become disabled after enabling it?

Do you see historical trades placed by the strategy?

Does the strategy tab show the status of the strategy as green, yellow or white?

      Hello,

Since sending i sent the script to my friend in the US to test and he has the same issue of not taking trades.

      In answer to your questions:

SampleMACrossover on sim101 takes trades on the co locate as expected.

There are no log errors on the co locate.

The script does use time filtering but my German computer and co locate clocks are both set to EST.

      The script stays enabled.

I don't see any historical or current trades on the co locate.

The strategy shows green in the strategy tab.
