NT8 Rithmic - do not see account

    NT8 Rithmic - do not see account

    I am switching over to NT8 from NT7. My Rithmic login works fine, but I do no see my trading account. In fact, the only account I see is the SIM101 account. The same login (used for years) works fine on NT7.

    Any ideas?

    Hello doctore,

    Thanks for writing in to our Support team.

    Please ensure that you have your live license key entered in the Help --> License Key field.

    Then, please follow these steps to enable the ability to place live trades:
    • Navigate to the Control Center > Tools menu.
    • Left-click on the ‘Global Simulation Mode’ option.

    You will now be able to select any live account associated with your connected datafeed in any Account drop-down box on any order entry window.

      The license key is in entered. The Global Simulation Mode is greyed out, which seems to mean that my NT8 is in Global Simulation Mode.

      This is the same license I have been using in NT7. It's a multi-broker license; my FCM is ADM.

        Thanks for your reply.

        Please write in to us and provide me your license key and your log and trace files so that I can test further - Global Simulation should only be greyed out if you have a simulated license key entered in or are having issues communicating with our licensing servers.

        You can do this by going to the Control Center-> Help-> Mail to Platform Support.

        Ensuring 'Log and Trace Files' is checked will include these files. This is checked by default.

        Please reference the following forum post in the body of the email by linking the URL and also the license key you have entered in to Help --> License Key and put ATTN Alan S in the subject line.

          Thanks for your help. All is fine now. The wrong license key was in. It was an @SIMxxx key that I've never seen before. I had entered my key when I originally installed and launched NT8. Not sure what happened or how it changed. Probably something I had done.
