    TF Data

    Hello,
    I seem to be having trouble accessing TF data through Ninja/Zen-fire
    I'm receiving real live data for ES/NQ/YM but nothing for TF . I have the latest version of NT.

    Thank you for your post.

    Can you please try resetting the instrument.

    To reset your instruments please: go to the Tools menu, select the Options menu item, select the Misc tab, and then click on 'Reset Instruments'.


    If the issue persists, please answer the following...
    1. Were you able to receive data before for the TF? Have you made any changes since then?
    2. Are there any error messages in the log tab of the Control Center when attempting to load the TF?
    3. What specific expiration are you trying to load?

    Please let me know if the issue persists.

      Hi Tim,
      Thanks for the response
      I just reset the instruments. no luck there.

      1. I have not tried obtaining TF data prior to today. I had never traded that instrument before.

      2. No error messages.

      3. March 2010 expiry with the Ice exchange

        Hi,

        Please complete the following steps...

        • From within the NinjaTrader Control Center window select the menu Tools > Instrument Manager
        • Highlight the TF contract in the left side of the Instrument Manager window
        • Press the ">" button (the instrument will disappear from the list)
        • Press the "<" button and the instrument should re-appear with the front month expiration date

        Lastly, make sure that the exchange is Nybot, you can confirm this by selecting it in the instrument drop down from a chart.

        Please let me know if the issue persists.

          I did that just now and no luck. Still getting 'n/a' for the bid/ask for TF

            Hi,

            Can you please try the following, and if the issue continues, please send an email to [email protected] with "ATTN: Tim" in the subject line, and provide me with a phone number so that I can give you a call.

            1. In the Instrument Manager, select the TF from the left side and click the ">" to remove it from your default list.
            2. From the right side, find and select the TF, click Delete.
            3. Click OK.
            4. Reset the instruments as before from the options menu.
            5. Open the Instrument Manager, find and select the TF from the right side.
            6. Click the "<" to add it back to the list.
            7. Click OK.
