Hi,

Has anyone tried NT on vista 64bit? I'd like to make my next machine a 64bit machine but would be very annoyed if NT didn't run correctly on it.

64bit windows is not supported at this tim.e It may or may not work.

We will support officially with NT7 (end of this year).

I have it installed on my Vista x64 machine (using the simulator license) and it's working perfectly. No issues here...

I have NT working on my AMD x64 with XP without problems.

NT works no problem on a 64 bit processor with32bit Windows. However, people experienced trouble on 64 bit Windows.

I have two x64 PCs both with AMD x64 chips. One is a HP notebook running 32 bit XP and NT works fine. The other x64 runs Windows XP Professional x64 Edition, and NT works fine there too. This second machine has two Program Files folders and loads true 64bit software into one, and 32 bit software into the other named "Program Files (x86)". The NT software loaded into "Program Files (x86)" so it is runing in 32bit mode.

Did those of you running Vista 64 download the x64 version of Microsoft's .NET framework v2.0 or the x86 version, please (just loading up my new Vista 64 computer) ?

.Net appears in my x86 folder so guess 32 bit version for me. As system (NT) works don't want to rock the boat there!.

Net load folder

I loaded Microsofts 64 bit Net framework software without problems on my x64 PC which is running Windows XP Professional x64 Edition I found some Net folders loaded into C:\WINDOWS\Microsoft.NET\Framework64 and interestingly into C:\WINDOWS\Microsoft.NET\Framework

Can somebody post the link of the .NET framework I need to install for Windows Vist 64bit. So many different versions, SDKs. I am running the NTDirect.dll in Tradestation and it is failing to initialize. When I tried to install the "Microsoft .NET framework version 2.0 Redistributable Package (x86)" I get the error "Cannot install on a 64bit operating system"

Vista net framework x64

All you need to do is goto
http://catalog.update.microsoft.com/v7/site/Home.aspx
and then do a search for "net framework x64"
and look carefully for your operating system

I had a 64 bit Vista. NT would not run on it. I installed XP pro and it runs great.

User DLL Error in x64 bit

I just discovered that my problem is not .NET framework in my vista x64 premium. It comes already installed! I installed NT 6.5 and it runs fine. My problem is when I try to open TradeStation with strategies that use the NT DLL NtDirect.dll. I receive a "USER DLL". This is very disappointing because I really need to run on x64 bit platform to be able to run all my strategies. The Windows XP has memory limitations. I can only open 530 charts with one strategy. I have another strategy that I want run and I can't. I just resolved a bunch of problems installing vista 64 and when I think I am done NT fails.

NTDirect user dll error

I check my directory C:\WIndows\Microsoft.NET\Framework and I have the following versions installed by default:

v1.0.3705
v1.14.322
v2.0.50727
v3.0

and under Framework64
v2.0.50727
v3.0

Has anybody used NTDirect.dll in x64 vista yet?
