new NT can not connect/amp/CQG

    new NT can not connect/amp/CQG

    Hi, I just downloaded and did all steps exactly as decribed
    Running windows 7 64 bit
    after following all steps i try to conect it gives me a message " Login failed: Invalid/Unauthorized Private label.

    Can anyone help me if i missed something. I have tried to re-enter key/passwords etc.

    No luck.

    This message generally means your CQG demo has expired and you will need to contact your broker for more options or to verify you are using the correct username/password.

      I have a current live account with AMP/CQG and it works on my other platform, I entered same info on this platform according to instructions from AMP.

      I never had a "demo" from CQG

        Thank you for your response.

        1.) Please try deleting and re-creating your CQG connection.

        Please go to the Tools menu--> select Account Connections--> highlight the connection--> click Remove
        Restart NinjaTrader
        Please go to the Tools menu--> select Account Connections and recreate the account connection.

        The following link will take you to a page that details the steps required for creating a connection to CQG.

        When entering your username and password, make sure there are no blank spaces before or after as this can cause an error.

          Well I will update, I am certainly frustrated and maybe regreting buying the key.
          If i had read this forum in advance I probably would not have.
          I usually do not complain much and have patience, but comunicating this way or through e-mails/forums is fruitless.

          The buck gets passed. call broker, broker call ninja,...

          Nobody knows what to do? It would be nice to talk to a real person that is my complaint.

              Kyle i did do that the tech at NT / said: call broker, after he looked at that file. that is how i ended up back here.

                    problem solved, I am looking forward to using and learning the NT platorm.
                    I will appoligize to the forum for my rant. But in hind sight i believe it helped a bit.

                        ya it was not Ninja problem it was broker related, they fully support ninja, issue was when i wanted to try Ninja out and go live, it was only recognizing current platform. Obviously I want to drive Ninja and get used to it before i made the "live" transition.

                        So in order to have both platforms live i had to get with CQG and add it, and there is a monthly fee. nothing to cry about just 10.00 No problem. I am enjoying Ninja and still use both as i am doing setups on Ninja and will likely dump the "other"

                        So bottom line it was letting the trade desk know you wanted to have 2 platforms, I have had both running during the day and it's fine.

                        I did jump through a lot of hoops because i had another broker that did not care what platforn you used it could only be one at a time.....this one because i pay extra fee i can run both even at same time, orders and trades can be executed.

                          when you try to connect using ninja trader, I see the following error: Login failed: The FCM you are trying to connect to is not authorized to use Ninja Trader with CQG.

                          login and password for the demo from the broker AMP Futures.

                          grateful for any help.

                            Can you please contact Amp Futures and check if the login credentials are still valid. Unfortunately I cannot check this on my end, since we do not provide the login credentials.
