    IB's account and orders details

    Hi,

Does NT pull LIVE order information, account information from interactive brokers?

Is it possible to use the automatic trading strategy to issue 3 types of order at same time when the conditions are met?

Let's say a LONG order, I want to place market buy, trailing stop by a certain amount(ex. USD/JPY. trailing by 0.10, the price is at 108.00, so it will trigger a stop lose by 0.10 of the highest price), and a take profit Limite Sell order. Also IB has Once-fill-cancel-all. Can it apply to the Trailing Stop Lose and Take Profit Limit Sell order, so if one of these 2 order filled, the other is cancelled? These are all IB's server based, just need NT to place these 3 types of orders.

    Thanks,
    Regards.

You can submit market, limit, stop (market) and stop limit orders.

          Thanks.

Is there a way to simulate the stop market order, so it will work as a trailing stop market order?

Are you talking about an ATM strategy?

Also: We have free webinars available which provide a good overview of NT's core/basic features. Most if not all of your questions are addressed there. Please see link in my signature for a current schedule.

Yes, Im talking about automatic trading strategy.

From the brief looking of your manual to build a system to trade automatically, it seems possible to do a trailing order based on NT.

But of course if NT can send trailing stop order to IB, that's the best, so it is server dependant. Otherwise my pc cant crash.

Do they teach how to make a trailing stop?

Im alreadying playing around the wizard and some coding, hope trailing stop is not hard to make it work.

              Regards

                To clarify:
                - an ATM startegy is not a NinjaScript strategy. Only the latter can be setup by a wizard
                - please see here to understand where orders reside: http://www.ninjatrader-support.com/v...ead.php?t=5349

                  Ok. I just read that.

Im using IB, they have server based OCO orders, but I cant find a way to submit such orders using strategy scripts.

Any link to teach a noob to do that?

                  Regards.

                    - NinjaScript strategies: done by default on calling SetTrailStop and SetProfitTarget
                    - ATM strategies: http://www.ninjatrader-support.com/H...yExample1.html

Also, searching the help guide on "OCO" yields a wealth of links related. http://www.ninjatrader-support.com/H...helpguide.html

I can find stop lose, and take profit target in the strategy wizard.

Can you point me to where to setup trailing stop in strategy wizard?

                      Or I need to code?

                      Thanks.

I found the trailing stop in the wizard now.

A new question, there is a simulated option. Since I am using IB, should I choose False : Simulated? Or NT cant submit such an order?

Also if I chose to have the strategy submit an take profit limit order, as well as this trailing stop market order, are they going to be cancelled when one of them is filled?

Now I know i can do this in ATM, not sure about ninja script/ automatic trading strategy.

                        Thanks.

                          Hello,

You may place a simulated order on IB if you like.

Regarding your second question: If you are working in the wizard and you are working from the Stops and Targets window, everything here will be OCO with the associated order since they work like ATM's.
