Fails to download historical data

Hi,

I'm working with Ninjatrader that is connected to MBtrading.
I'm trying to download minute historical data (through historical data manager).
Once I complete downloading (and there is not errors in log)I'm running my strategy on this period (e.g. 1/1/2014 - 1/1/2015) I get no trades (even tough must be trades).
In addition, if I check in the historical data manager-->export -->last --> minute, I see that it doesn't have data on this period, but it has daily data.

As far as I know, MBtrading can give minute data.

So, how can I get minute data (I want since 2008) ?

Are you able to open a minute chart to this instrument?

Do you see data appear in the Historical Data Manager after opening a chart to that instrument?

I can see 1 minute chart for the period that I have data, but not for the data that I don't have (e.g. 2014).

Thank you for confirming this.

What this lets us know is that the instrument is mapped correctly in NinjaTrader and is able to receive minute historical data.

Have you checked with MBTrading to find how much historical data is supplied to applications that connect with their API?

You could also start increasing the days to load on the chart, or load between dates (I'd recommend starting with smaller timeframes and increasing). Eventually you would find the limit of the amount of historical data being hosted on their servers.

Right-click the chart, select Data Series...
On the right, set the 'End date' or set the 'Load data based on' to CustomRange
