Request: Bill Williams Awesome Oscillator & Accelerator Oscillator

Hi everyone,

I could really use two indicators: Bill Williams Awesome Oscillator (AO) & Bill Williams Accelerator Oscillator (AC).

Is there anyone here who has these available, or who could even possibly code them up? I'm looking for exactly the same ones as featured on MetaTrader, thx a lot for your help.

Has anyone applied Bill Williams' trading method using NT? I'm curious to know if anyone has developed a strategy that uses all this indicators as he outlines them. If not, I'd give it a shot. I still have not created a strategy yet that doesn't lose me $1000's/day!

BW Fractals

Hi,

I downloaded the script for Profitunity Fractals. It works fine for the 1, 2, 3, 15, 30 and 60 minutes time frames. I don't get anything for the 5 and 10 minutes charts. Any idea why this happens?

Hi,

I'm considering to start using Ninja trader. Have used Sierra, but it doesn't display ProfitUnity indicators correctly.

I'm glad Ninja does fractals but the down fractals don't display as a pointer but as a small rectangular box. Up fractals display correctly. Any hints on how can I fix it?

Second (and more important) question is about Alligator. Lines should be projected (offset) into the future e.g. Meta Trader does it so but Ninja doesn't.
I would very much appreciate if anyone coul help me with this.

Alligator settings

Hi Jan,

I noticed the same thing. Here is how I solved it:

1) In the indicator list, select SMMA (Smoothed Moving Average) three times.

2) Settings for each SMMA:

SMMA #1: Period = 5
Displacement = 3
Color = Lime Green
Price Type = Median

SMMA #2: Period = 8
Displacement = 5
Color = Red
Price Type = Median

SMMA #3: Period = 13
Displacement = 8
Color = Dodger Blue
Price Type = Median

I would also set "Calculate on Price Close" to "False."

These are Bill Williams' settings from the book "Trading Chaos, Second Edition."

Fractals

Jan,

Have you tried deleting the indicator and redownloading it? It works fine on my charts with arrows for both up and down fractals.

You need the proper font set used in the indicator to have it display properly. The font used is Wingdings 3.

Hi,

still not lucky with those down fractals. Tried to download it again but it didn't help. I also checked the script and it says "wingdings 3" as you suggest Josh.
Perhaps these wingdings load from somewhere in my computer and I got wrong windings 3?
Sorry if the question is silly, I'm not much of an IT person.

Little box instead of the little pointer is nothing I couldn't live with but still I will appreciate any hint. (huh, double negative, hope you know what i mean. me no speak brilliant English too )

I am not sure Jan. I always just kind of had the font. It might have been installed with my Microsoft Office?
