    Control centre question

    How is it possible that the "accounts" tab & the "account performance" tab show totally different p/l numbers for the same trading day??

    Hello pinballmad,

    Thank you for your post.

    Within the Account Perfomance tab please cick on Advanced and confirm you have the correct accounts, instrument, templates and provider selected prior to generating your report.

      I tried that & no change. Is it possible that one tab converts all currencies to USD & the other doesn`t?

        If you have the Mode set to Currency prior to generating the report they both will display the PnL in Currency.

        Please follow the instructions below to repair the NinjaTrader database.
        • Disconnect NinjaTrader from any open connections via File > Disconnect
        • From the NinjaTrader Control Center window select the menu Tools > Options
        • Select the "Misc" tab
        • Press the "Repair DB" button
        • Press the "OK" button

        Next please regenerate your report with the Account Performance tab and let me know if the issue persists.

          I think You misunderstood me here. I trade both European & the US futures which are priced in different currency. Is it possible that one tab converts all of the p/l into a single currency and the other doesn't?

          I tried what You suggested & although the p/l in the "accounts" tab has been modified, the two still don't match.

            Everything should be converted to USD within NinjaTrader.

            Please reset your database by going to Tools-->Options-->Misc tab-->Reset Database. With this procedure all historical trade data will be deleted.

            Next please restart NinjaTrader-->Execute a trade-->Generate a new report and let me know if the issue persists.

              I did what You said & the error is in the "acc performance" bar not converting EUR into USD.

                Please send a note to Support [AT] NinjaTrader [DOT] com with "ATTN: Chris" in the subject line.

                In the message, please include the following:
                1.) A link to this forum thread.
                2.) Your most current trace file.


                You will find the file here: My Documents > NinjaTrader 6.5 > Trace > trace.YYYYMMDD.txt

                    I would like to look through your trace file to see if there are any error messages or anything that looks out of place.

                    If I don't see anything we may need to setup a remote login session to look into the issue further.

                      Euro to Dollar conversion

                      I have the same issue as below and wondered if there has been a "fix" or answer to this. The trade I have done on the FDAX in Euros is displayed as dollars but not converted.

                      I have followed steps below but still displays it as dollar value:

                      FDAX value in Euro = 440 Eoros but is displayed in the performance tab as $440

                            Hello Trad3r,

                            Unfortunately this is as expected. Euro values will be converted absolutely into US dollar in the Account Performance-tab. A profit of 100 Euro will be reflected as $100.
