Fetching coordinates of a horizontal line

    Hello,

I would like to manually create a horizontal line on a chart and then get the price the line's drawn at.

I cannot find much information about accessing user-drawn objects from code. Could you please point me in the right direction? Also, I wonder how one would distinguish between lines in case there are more than one on the chart. Would that be via its tag or is it possible to e.g. add text to the line (e.g. "I am the line that needs to be retrieved by code" )?

    Many thanks,

    Libor

    Hello,

    Thank you for the post.

We have some examples of ways to access drawing objects on a chart here:

This example also shows how to determine what type of object you are referencing. this would be a good start to refine a search for objects. The Tag name is generally the best item as it would be unique.

I look forward to being of further assistance.
