Beta 23: Remove Drawing Objects and horizontal lines

I just happened to stumble across this one. The screen shots below should make it clear. The first is a 5-minute chart of ES, to which I added a horizontal line using F6 and a vertical line using F7. (The Z-Order of the lines was changed so I could confirm that three objects were being detected on the chart. They were.) However, the Remove Drawing Objects window – shown in the second screen shot – came up with the entry for Vertical Line enabled but with the entry for Horizontal Line disabled.

Mike, if you don't change the Z-Order, are you still unable to remove both lines? I just added a vertical line and horizontal line (with F6, F7), didn't change the Z-Order and went to remove the lines and I was able to remove both.

I never said I was unable to remove the lines. The lines are selectable, and the Delete key works fine. The issue is that the Remove Drawing Objects window is wrong. You did not indicate if you brought up the Remove Drawing Objects window and, if so, what it looked like.

MikeInMA, I should've been more clear. Both lines were present in the Remove Drawing Objects window and I removed both from there.

It's so much better when you reproduce my findings and thank me for a good catch! But anyway, I'm obviously seeing what I'm seeing, and it's wrong, so there's something going on here. Suggestions?

MikeInMA, please try restarting your computer first. Sometimes weird errors like this can be resolved with a simple restart. If that doesn't work, can you reinstall NinjaTrader and see if that fixes the issue?

Please follow the steps listed below to completely uninstall and reinstall NinjaTrader:
            1. Close all running applications.
            2. Then from the Start menu select --> Control Panel --> Add and Remove Programs.
            3. From Add and Remove Programs select NinjaTrader 7 and click Remove.
            4. Then manually delete the folder "NinjaTrader 7" located under Start --> My Documents.
            5. Delete any NinjaTrader installation files. This can be done by going to Start --> My Computer --> Search button --> search for (NinjaTrader*) --> select Local C Disk and then press search.
            6. Then you will need to clear your internet browser cache and history. You will clear this from within your internet browser (with IE, Tools-->Options, delete cookies and files, clear history).
            7. Reboot your machine.
            8. Once these steps are completed, download NT7 from the link below:
              Download

Please let us know if you are able to get up and running after the reinstall.

If I delete the NinjaTrader 7 folder, don't I lose, like, everything? Database, workspaces, templates, etc., etc.? Seems like a pretty high price to pay....

Is it possible this line is being drawn by a NinjaScript strategy.

Please post your workspace again either here or to support at ninjatrader dot com ATTN: Brett.

                My Documents -> NinjaTrader 7 -> Workspaces-> Your active workspace.xml
