    Issue with CME currencies on Chart

    Hello,

    When I load few years worth of CME currencies data (6E, 6J, 6B....) on a chart, something weird happens from mid December 2016 to May 2017 (see attached screen shot). The bars are barely visible. I tried 2 different datafeeds to make sure (Kinetick and IQfeed), same issue on both (i deleted and fully reloaded the data). This has something to do with merge functionality. If I only load March 2017, for example, without merge data, all is displayed correctly for this period. This issues does not happen on ES or CL for example, just currencies. Any idea how to fix it?

    What version of NinjaTrader 7 are you using? You can check under Help -> About (Example: 7.0.1000.X)

    What is your merge policy when this is occurring? To check, navigate to the Control Center > Tools > Options > Data tab > Merge Policy

    What is the merge policy for 6E? To check, navigate to Tools > Instrument Manager > Select '6E' in master list (list on the left) > Edit > Merge Policy

      Version: 7.0.1000.31

      Merge policy: MergeBackAdjusted (when I choose DoNotMerge it works, but I can only see 1 contract month at a time on chart, where I need it to be continuous)

      6E Merge Policy: UseGlobalSetting

        I see that you're using an older and unsupported version of NinjaTrader 7 (7.0.1000.31). Please upgrade to the latest version (7.0.1000.35) and reset your instruments to make sure your platform has the latest updates.

        To upgrade NinjaTrader, please follow the steps below.
        • First get your license key from NinjaTrader under Help> License Key then exit NinjaTrader
        • Click on the link: http://ninjatrader.com/PlatformDirect
        • Enter your license key and press Submit
        • Select 'NinjaTrader 8'
        • Select 'Download'
        • Critical: Before running the installer, ensure NinjaTrader is closed.

        After the upgrade, please reset your instruments. To reset your instruments please follow the steps below.
        • Disconnect from your data feed: NinjaTrader Control Center> File> Disconnect> Select your data feed.
        • Reset your Instruments: NinjaTrader Control Center> Tools> Options> Data tab> Reset Instruments>OK.
        • Restart NinjaTrader> Connect (NinjaTrader Control Center> File> Connect> Select your connection.

        Please let me know if any issues persist after the upgrade and instrument reset.

          I downloaded latest Ninja 7 version, performed the steps you suggested and all got fixed.
