Please advise how I can go live- I have confimed equity in my account but want to make sure I log on live properly the first time- thanks.

Make sure your live license key is entered under Help-->License Key.
Connect to your live connection. Go to Control Center-->File and uncheck 'Global Simulation Mode'. You should now be able to select your live account in all order entry windows.

Thanks Jason. Trouble is when I go to Global Simulation to try to uncheck, I cannot as it is ticked but not highlighted so cannot make changes. Please advise!

Can you please check if you have a live license entered under Help-->License Key.
If the license starts with @SIM, you are using the free license, which does not allow you to trade live and you would need to purchase a live license with us.
