IB Auto closes at Night

I noticed that IB TWS closes automatically EVERY NIGHT, but before it does that gives a small message box displaying the shutdown at 10pm and if I want to change it... If I am infront of the computer, I normally extend it, but this is a problem.

Once TWS shuts automatically, NT strategy and connection is broken. Is there a fix for this? I do not want this Autodisconnection from TWS as I run a Forex strategy...

Apologies if this has been addressed before.

Hello,

Thank you for your note.

Unfortunately there is no workaround for this as IB resets their servers every night and requires a shut down. You may want to contact IB for more information.

So how do your vast Forex Customers using IB trade over night? I guess.... stay up all night long.. is one way

Just curious if there is a work around...
