I have 3 possible datafeed connections. 1) eSignal. 2) Zen-Fire for US markets. 3) TT for foreign markets. The Zen-Fire and TT connections can trade. eSignal is just data. Let's say ESisthe US symbol andN225 (Nikkei)is the foreign symbol.
Is it possible to: 1) Open a chart for ES and have it connect to Zen-Fire? 2) Open a chart for N225 and have it connect to TT? 3) Open a chart for something else and have it connect to eSignal? 4) Open a DOM and have it connect to the correct connection for trading? 5) Have automated strategies running that connect to the appropriate connection? - you can set up any amount of connections in NT as you'd like
- you only can have one futures order connection at a time open, since orders would be routed to first connection supporting future orders. The second connection just will be ignored - the logic is driven by instrument type and not actual instruments, meaning you can not trade one future on connection A and another future on connection B - you can trade instrument type A on connection A and instrument type B on connection B simultaneously, if connection A does not support instrument type B and connection A is the first - you can have eSignal as datafeed connection (connect first) and Zen or (!!, since they both support futures) TT as order connection (connect second) at the same time Please find more info in the docs: Account connection -> Multiple connections
