Default Problem Exiting Positions

Can you please help me with this?

The problem is while Exiting the short positions using ExitShort(), the orders are places very high above the market ~ 10 ticks above. I cant locate the problem. I am using Gain connection for Testing this. screenshot attached.

Berny, this is expected as you have to pay the current bid / ask spread when using MarketOrders. The chart you see is based on the bid price only, NinjaTrader 7 will offer more options in this regard - http://www.ninjatrader.com/webnew/NT7/NinjaTrader7.html

Then, how can I determine the least price for which I can buy my instrument? If I can't, I am pushed to buy the instrument at a very high price which will occur in huge loss.

Berny, the ask is the price for which you can buy the instrument right now (Market Order), if you don't want to pay up to get in, join the bid with a limit order then.
