I want to replay a week of data from day sessions only....this instead of using Strat Anal
works great with the exception that the chart is set to day session however MR still still process, at same speed, the after session hours for which there is no data would be great if MR would pickup session time from chart...is this poss |

Right now you will have to just fast forward it when it is out of session.

I think my question is related to this.
Firstly, the market replay in 7 is great - being able to kick it off and have it go through all of your dates is extremely useful Thanks for that feature. It does now through up one issue though. If you are missing files/dates, the replay just keeps going at the same speed through the missing dates. This becomes really relevent if you're missing a month or two. I'm guessing it may be tricky from the way it works, but is there a chance that market replay could skip over gaps in its files/dates? |

It will replay what ever data you have available, if there is any type of gap, it will just skip over it as if it was not there.

As far as I can tell, it doesn't skip over it. Clearly it doesn't do or display anything, but the replay window continues to scan through the missing dates.
e.g. if you have the data for a Monday and Friday only, the replay window will still display all of the dates/times for tues, wed, thu, so the complete replay would take the elapased time of five days rather than two. |
