Default Currenex Support

Hi guys,

Will NT in the near future support Currenex? NT currently supports PFG currenex but what about other currenex providers?

If NT was able to do it with PFG why not also others? I would love to use NT but I am using another currenex provider. .

Hello MikeX,

You can only connect to the supported data feed providers listed at the link below.
http://www.ninjatrader-support.com/H...ricalData.html

I will forward your inquiry to support Currenex by itself to our development team and ask them if they can add this to the list of future considerations for the software.

Thank you for your feedback.

Hi Jason,

Ok, thanks. Hope it gets implemented. I'm sure a lot of other traders would love this functionality

yes, please add support for Currenex - at least to connect to the data feed via FIX API. But also trade capability would be nice too.

This is available in some other trading software out there - e.g. ProTrader (PTMultiStation)

Apparently Currenex does not support historical data - but still please implement a Currenex data feed connection

Hello blazer,

Unfortunately this is not supported, since they are not a supported broker partner.

actually ninjatrader DOES support currenex but only PFG's currenex. it would be great if it supports all broker's currenex. . .

Hi Guys,

Unfortunately our forum experienced technical difficulties early this morning. As a result, we were forced to restore our forum to its last back up point approximately seven (7) hours ago. Any posts created since that time have been lost. We are sorry for the inconvenience.

Because of this the last 2 posts here from NinjaCustomer and Blazer were lost. I will post them both here below:

From NinjaCustomer:
yeah universal currenex support should be easy to implement, just let the user configure the various parameters when setting up the account.
I understand reluctance to add it for non-broker-partner... but why not just add this capability as part of the paid version of NinjaTrader? That would open up NinjaTrader to a large # of professional forex traders... since they mostly use currenex.

From Blazer:
There is something else I have mentioned already 3 times and ignored in the updates.
In mbtrading connection with live ninja.
Every changes in the preferences you make are not saved in workspace.
So you can't customize navigator every time you loose connection and you must start all over again. These happen until 4-5 times daily to loose connection.
So a save preferences button must create or a method to save mini navigator preferences.
Forward please this too to your superiors.
Thank you
B
