On the SuperDOM window it would be nice to limit displayed position strategies in the combo box based upon what instrument is selected. For instance if I select ES 06 as the instrument, I really don't want to have to scroll through NQ, ER, and YM strategies.
Another suggestion slightly related: sometimes I'd like to keep a strategy for reporting and historical purposes in the strategy manager but not have it displayed any more in the combo box. It would be nice to click a checkbox on the strategy and be able to make a strategy "Inactive". |

You don't have to keep the strategy for reporting purposes. The historical data in the trade records record the name of the strategy used.

Thank you, I appreciate knowing that the name is recorded but are all the settings? If not, it would require keeping a separate spreadsheet of each strategies settings. Is there way to export strategy settings to a csv file perhaps?
BTW this request is less important to me than the first item, any feedback on that? |

You can read the
C:\Program Files\NinjaTrader 4\Data\strategies.nt file for strategy information. Can't export it. The first item is on a list for future future consideration.

Thank you for the tip. FWIW my file was named strategydata.nt. It looks like a standard CSV file (someone was thinking) which should be easy to import into Excel.
I appreciate your consideration of the first item. Thanks again |
