Question Distributing Indicators - 32 and 64 bit?

When distributing indicators for NT7 will we need to create a 32 and 64 bit version?

Thanks!

Hello,

Since you are asking about NT7, I will have someone reply to you on Monday. Thank you for your patience.

Question NT 6.5 and NT7

Do you recommend distributing NT 6.5 and NT 7 versions of the indicator, or do customers typically migrate forward? NT 6.0 was my first version with you, so I am not clear how in unison "the herd" is.

Any ETA on NT 7? Are we talking weeks, months, or year?

Based on this thread, it sounds like I would need a single NT 6.5 32 bit version and 32-bit and 64-bit versions of NT 7 once it ships.

moflaherty,

You will most likely need 6.5 and 7 versions since there are several code breaking changes to 7 which would invalidate 6.5 indicators. If you were distributing with the RemoteSoft Protector then you will also need 32bit and 64bit versions.

NT7 is currently in closed beta. We are hoping for a public beta here shortly. Unfortunately I have no additional release information at this point in time.

Actually you could have your indicators etc. coded that they would compile both NT6.5 and Nt7 by using the pre-processor statement

#if NT7

#endif

(see samples at in the generated of the NT7 indicators at the very bottom)

Default RemoteSoft

I emailed RemoteSoft last week and have yet to hear back from them, but we are planning on using that too...

Angry RemoteSoft

I still cannot get RemoteSoft to reply, even after repeated emails. Any ideas?

It would be nice to have an option to enter and save a command line for your favorite protection program instead of having to rely on the only option. That only option is certainly not a good option at this point!

Unfortunately there is no other tool out there which would serve the same purpose as Protector. We consider obfuscators not a strong enough protection.

Maybe not but shouldn't that be up to users if Protector is not available?
