I have a programming challenge that is outsmarting me at the moment. So, I'm looking for some guidance from the community.
I need to detect when price retracements occur so I can generate an alert. I've attached a screenshot of the kind of retracements I'm looking to identify. Does anyone have any ideas or examples they could share with me? Thanks in advance. Regards, Mike |

Hello,
I will leave this open for the community. I might suggest also that you check out Swing and the ZigZag indicator code in NinjaTrader and see if this doesnt get you headed in the right direction. You may be able to incorperate these indicators into your code to help you with this. Let me know if I can be of further assistance.
