Hi All, hoping someone can help with this one!
I have the most recent NT7 loaded. When I changed to the new contract date, for example 6E 12-10 to 6E 03-11, all the lines and markups I had on my charts are gone! How can I fix this with out having to redo everything? Thanks gever17

Hello gever17,
Drawing objects even if ‘Locked’ would not remain on the chart after changing the front-month (rollover). In this case it may be necessary to re-draw these items. Hey Chip,
Well, just changed Cl contract from 10-11 to 02-11 and all my lines have disappeared. I made certain that all the lines were LOCKED. Any other suggestions? I sure hope we can fix this issue. Thanks for looking! gever17 |

Hello gever17,
Please open the Options menu's data tab (Tools > Options > Data). What merge policy setting is in place?

Hello gever17,
Unfortunately this is as expected. Locking drawing objects will not save your drawing objects for the new expiry month. Chip was incorrect in his statement. Drawing objects are saved for the instrument and expiry month. If you roll over instruments, you will use a new different expiry month. So none of the drawing objects will appear in the chart that uses a new expiry month.

Hello Jason,
Well, that is disappointing! To say the least. Is it in the works to fix this issue? As I am sure you know there is a lot of time spent going over charts and identifying levels that are marked as well as trendlines. This is a rather large issue. Thank you gever17 |

I will forward your suggestion to transfer drawing objects to instruments with a new expiry month to Development to put it on the list of future considerations of the software. Thank you for your feedback.
