If I enter a trade through an MBT window, will the live trade show on NT Chart?

When I place trades in an MBT window and then later open up NT, the NT chart shows those trades with historical markers. So if I place a trade in an MBT window and have NT open at the same time, will the markers show up in NT while the trade is live? And if so, does NT store that data to use in PnL reports?

Will those markers only show up if my NT license is live?

Thank you for your post.

The trades that you are seeing on the chart may be external orders that NinjaTrader receives upon connecting to MBT, however, I will want to confirm this in the log and trace files, so can you please send an email to support[at]ninjatrader[dot]com and attach the log and trace files.

You will find the log file in the Documents > NinjaTrader 7 > Log folder.

• The log file will be named ‘log.YYYYMMDD.txt’

You will find the trace file in the Documents > NinjaTrader 7 > Trace folder.

• The trace file will be named ‘trace.YYYYMMDD.txt’

Depending on the source of the trades you are seeing on the chart the performance reporting may reflect that, and if you wish to trade you MB Trading account directly from NinjaTrader then you would be able to see live trades within NinjaTrader. More information at:
