Default Exporting trade details to an excel file automatically

Not sure if anyone else tried to do this before but I'd like to import all of my trade execution details automatically to an excel file with the click of a mouse. I know I can right click on trades tab and export the data to excel but what I would like to do is to create a file once and update it automatically every night only with the new trades. This means I won't have to export the grid everyday.

Any thoughts?

pandyav,

This is certainly possible using .NET however would be unsupported. All trade data is stored in a SQL database which is accessible in My Documents / NinjaTrader / db.

If you had some custom application or indicator built it could update with only new trades.

Please let me know if I may assist further.

Sorry if I missed this, but does it mean that I need to know .net and SQL to accomplish what I am trying to do?
Thanks.

pandayav,

If you wanted to access the SQL database and write an application to update a trade log then yes. If you are using automated strategies only you can have them individually write their trade data to .csv files.

Please let me know if I may assist further.
