I would like to import a list of about 100 FX pairs, however, the Import Stock Symbol List feature always rejects my entries based on syntax unless I put the symbol in as: AUDCAD (for example) $AUDCAD, AUD.CAD, AUD/CAD are all rejected.
If I use a simple symbol like AUDCAD I get an error in Market Analyzer for each symbol using either Kinetick or TD Ameritrade as a datafeed. SO.... How do I made an FX list which works? |

Hello mjcongleton,
Thanks for your post. Unfortunately, the list import is limited to stocks only at this time. While a change here is something which development is looking in to, any currency pairs you wish to add to NinjaTrader would need to be added manually.

OK I tried to enter them manually but could not get AUDCZK to work. I get a could not load data error when I add this to the FOREX list. I do have AUDCZK.FXCM for Kinetick in the symbol map, and Kinetic for my datafeed.
Any ideas? |

Hi,
When attempting to load that chart, does an error trigger? If so, what does that error report?

Please go back to Tools-->Instrument Manager-->Select AUDCZK-->Click Edit-->Misc tab-->Set mapping for Kinetick to AUDCZK.COMP-->Click Ok.
Next remove $AUDCZK from your Default instrument list and add it back in. Open a new $AUDCZK chart. Please let me know if the issue persists after this procedure.
