Hello,
Need to clarify: ->The NinjaTrader simulation license never expires and can be used for free with no time limits. ->NinjaTrader requires live data to power it, this comes from a data feed provider and if you have a demo from your data feed provider this may expire in 2 weeks or so yes. If you need a full time data feed provider to use I would recommend www.kinetick.com -Brett

Hello Brett,
my dataprovider/broker is IB and on the control center data is coming in. But my NT charts are not updated. Could it be an API problem from IB ? |

yes, could be you do not have historical data in TWS. Do you have purchased data with TWS or did it expire?

My TWS run's like a charm, no problem. I'm a IB client since several years.
I checked the api settings and they didn't change; they are ok. There was an update yesterday but all goes well after, without any problem. |

What version of IB are you using and are you getting any errors in the log tab of NinjaTrader?
What version of IB's TWS are you on? We officially only support 921.5 which can be downloaded on our website here. If you are on an updated version worth trying to downgrade to official supported NinjaTrader release. http://www.ninjatrader.com/Connectio...tion-Guide.php

Thanks for posting logs.
Looks like you have a custom indicator that is causing problems. Suggest removing these indicators and then restarting NinjaTrader. Will the charts now load? -Brett

Looks fine now.
What exactly is going on with chart load? May be better just to have you email into support at ninjatrader dot com and reference this forum post we will do a quick remote and take a look. -Brett

Ok mate41.... try a "reload historical data".... and yes, it's solved.
There was nothing wrong with my indicators but i don't know why a reload have to be done. Thanks for the support Brett. My remark about the TWS version still remains !!! |

Sounds good. You still had errors coming from your indicators. You should have the indicator developer check into those errors if they are still occurring.
