Default Why doesn't ADD index work?

I am trying to use the McClellan Oscillator but keep getting an error that "No mapping is define for ADD". When I look in the instrument list I see it there. How do I fix this?

Hello,

Thank you for your post.

Can you please clarify who you connect to for data? This is displayed in the bottom left hand corner of the NinjaTrader Control Center.

From the Instrument list, please select ADD and then select "Edit"--> from the Instrument Editor--> click on the "Misc" tab--> scroll down to the "Symbol Map" section and tell me what value you have for your provider.

Are you connected to TDA first or IB?

By default there is no mapping to TDA for this symbol, however it should work from IB.

Please try connecting to IB as the first connection and let me know if these errors persist.

Hello,

This message indicates you do not have real-time access from IB to chart this symbol.

TDA does not offer a combined advanced/decline ratio.

In order to view this symbol, you will need get real-time access from IB, or subscribe to a secondary data source who will offer it.

You can also use the free Kinetick End of Day connection to chart this symbol and indicator on a Daily interval.
