Hi Ryan and Vincent,
I've been running NT on Windows Vista x64 just fine for a couple of months. Now I've opened a live account with IB. TWS loads ok after redirecting the shortcut to javaw from \System32 to \SysWOW64. Ninja loads fine, but then when I try to connect I get the following error: "Login failed: IB.Adapter.MessageLoop Unknown Host" Is this a Vista issue or is it due to some other reason? In case it is, I realize you do not officially support Vista, could you please give me a hand with a workaround? Thank you, Jorge |

Can you tell me what version of NinjaTrader and TWS you have installed? You can check under Help--> About.

Please check if you are still set up correctly:
http://www.ninjatrader.com/webnew/su...ivebrokers.htm Aso, how do you connect? Do you bring up NT first and then connect. Or do you open up both TWS and NT and then connect? Please try opening TWS, then NT and then connect. Let me know if this works.

Jorge,
Have you tried bringing up NT and then connect. It should bring up TWS automatically. Please try this. If this doesn't work, send me a note at support at ninjatrader dot com with your phone number and I'll have someone follow up for remote assistance.

We do support Vista, just not 64 bit windows. It may or may not work. If your IB set up is correct, then there is unfortunately nothing further that we can do. Make sure that port setting in both NT and IB is 7496.
