Could not find Java SE Runtime Environment

Hi,
I am trying to install TWS-NinjaTrader and I am doing it following these steps:

I had no problems with the installation, however, when I try to open the Trader Work Station I receive the next message: Error: Could not find Java SE Runtime Environment.

Even if I go to the next route: C:\ Windows\ System32 and I try to open the “javaw” file I receive the same message (please, see the attached file).

Even if I uninstall and install Java I receive the next message.

Please, could someone help me to solve this problem?

Hello Plaket,

Can you please follow the steps below and check if this will solve the issue.

1. Locate javaw.exe located in the following directory:
C:\Program Files\Java\jre1.8.0_25\bin(Note your version may be different from jre1.8.0_25)

2. You are going to COPY the javaw.exe file to the 'clipboard' (right-click Javaw.exe and select copy)

3. Now paste it into the following two directories:
C:\Windows\System32
C:\Windows\SysWOW64

4. Once this is complete, please reboot your PC and check if the issue remains.

If so, I suggest to contact IB support to troubleshoot this error. They created TradersWorkStation and would be the best party to troubleshoot any issues with it.
