Is is possible to scan stocks on the market analyzer? Could it be possible to scan stocks with have a 10% increase in volume compared to the volume of the last 14 days? I have an idea on how to accomplish this, I just want to know if the market analyzer is capable of this?
Thanks |

Yes, you have to custom code an indicator that would return a value of 1 when true for the volume condition you want. Then you can apply this indicator in the MA and sort on the column to show all instruments where the value is 1.

Please consider adding cross above /cross below conditions to the market analyzer, it would be a million times better...

What would you do if you wanted to simply output the volume percentage increase from the average volume over X days. Would you simply return the volume? The code in order to perform such an operation "sounds" simple enough, is there a tutorial on doing something like this anywhere? |

You would return the % increase. Check the Help Guide NinjaScript section for Indicator Development tutorials, there are about six of them.

Is the source code available for any of the pre-developed indicators?

Is there a means to search for stocks such as the top x% net gainers/losers or top x% volume leaders for the entire market? Or would something like this be difficult on performance since all symbols would have to be evaluated?
I am assuming that NT is not designed for these types of scans, please correct me if I am wrong. Dave |
