Can't add Strategy to chart

Hello all ,

i'm new to Ninja trader ,
i have NT version 6.5 release
i run the NT in simulation mode with MB Trading data feed to get Futures data.

can someone tell me how to add strategy to test it with real time data
on simulation mode.


i wrote strategy and open chart , then i see the Icon for strategy is disabled . and tool tip text apear: "Strategies - disabled if not connected or chart trader is enabled"

what am i missing here ?

There are two reasons you will not be able to add a strategy to your chart.

1. You are not connected to a data feed. If you check the bottom left of the "Control Center," you should see a Green indication to show connnection to MB Trading. This has to be green.

2. The chart trader is enabled. If I remember correctly, there is an icon you can click on the top of your chart that enables / disables "chart trader." Make sure this is disabled.
