Default Exporting trade execution data

Hi Support,

What are the options to export historical "trade execution" data ?

Is it possible to export the data into excel file or into a database? In what format is the current data stored in ninja, is it possible to make a copy of the database and run queries on it?

Thanks
RK

Hi RK_trader,

Go to the Executions tab and right click->Export to Excel. The format is, well, Excel formatted. Haha sorry for the lack of description. Give it a shot and you will know what I mean.

As for the database, all data is stored inside there but we do not support nor recommend tampering with the it at all.

Thanks Josh for the reply.

I am familiar with excel export from executions tab. But was trying to see, if there is anyway to do it directly from the ninja database.

Sometimes I get worried that a ninja crash, will corrupt the database and I would loose trade data.

Also are there any 3rd party tools or any other tools, that you know are popularly used for trade execution data and data analysis/accounting. And something which would integrate with ninja?

Thanks
RK

You can use the Backup tool to protect your database from such crashes. I am not aware of any products.

I use OpenOffice, how do you configure this action to open Calc instead of Excel?
