Stop Loss And Take Profit / Forex / IB
I'm trading forex, interactive brokers.
Trading and placing orders on chart. I'm placing an order with simple custom strategy (just stop loss and take profit) and it works when trading on simulated account. But for the same order placed on IB account there are no stop loss / take profit orders. How to fix that? And second questions, are there any settings I need to change in NT just for IB to work properly (except account connection)? |

Thank you for the fast reply.
My setup: connection like on http://www.ninjatrader.com/webnew/su...ivebrokers.htm and HalfPip setting. I don't have my custom strategy, I meant, I just enter ATM strategy stop loss and profit target values, and then place an order. On Sim101 it's OK, with stop loss and protif target, but on IB account it's just basic order, without additional stop loss / profit target on the chart. Do you know what can cause this problem?

Can you please check what version of TWS you have installed.
In addition, please tell me what sort of IB account you are using; live, demo or paper trading account?

I suggest to downgrade to TWS 884 and check if this behavior persists.
You can download TWS 884 at the connection link Josh provided. Once you installed TWS 884 remove the current connection in NinjaTrader and create a new one.
