Process for opening a live NinjaTrader forex account

1. Click the following link and fill out the online application:

2. You will receive an email from Gain Capital (forex.com) confirming your account has been approved. This email will contain a User ID witch will be used as the username when creating your live connection in NinjaTrader. During the application process you will create your own password which will also be used when creating your live connection.

3. Click the following link and fill in the section that applies to you in order to obtain
a live Forex license key for NinjaTrader:

4. After you receive your license key from NinjaTrader you will open the software and copy and paste it under Help>License Key and then you are ready to make your live connection.

Instructions for creating a LIVE FOREX CONNECTION in NinjaTrader

Start NinjaTrader

a. From the Control Center select, “Tools > Account Connections”
b. Click ADD
c. Name the connection (My Forex, etc...) > Datafeed is Gain > Backup is None
d. Enter your Username and Password > Mode is Live
e. Finish the Wizard
f. From the Control Center select, File and un-check ‘Global Simulation Mode’
g. From the Control Center select, File > Connect and select the new connection you created above

Final Note: You will be able to access your Gain (Forex.com) account statements by clicking the following link and entering your user ID and password in the IB reports section:

Process for re-branding your account for use with NinjaTrader

1. You will need to fill out an account transfer form. This form is used for Gain and Forex.com customers and because it is not a custom form you will need to write in a note on the form that says you want to change your platform to NinjaTrader.
